Descripción y detalle de las actividades

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor A to lead a start up manufacturing operations within a sewing and light assembly environment that supports globally recognized products. This is a hands-on leadership role for a supervisor who is comfortable spending time on the production floor, developing high-performing teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe, efficient, and quality-focused operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate production personnel to ensure achievement of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives.
  • Monitor daily production activities and maintain continuous workflow according to production schedules.
  • Analyze production requirements and manpower needs to optimize resources and output.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Train, coach, and develop production employees while conducting performance evaluations and supporting employee development plans.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain production records, labor tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.

Experiencia y requisitos

Qualifications Required

  • 3+ years of experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Preferred

  • Experience in sewing, cutting, apparel, textile, fabric-related manufacturing, or similar light assembly operations.
  • Experience in heavy-duty sewing operations producing fall protection, rescue, or safety equipment such as harnesses, lanyards, and lifelines.
  • Background in consumer products, soft goods, textiles, or sewn products manufacturing.
